Space Invader

Space Invader is a french artist whom gets his inspiration from the classic 80's video game Galaga. This was put up near the entrance to an escalator in Horton Plaza.

Banksy

We all know who Banksy is. Now I'm not sure if this really is Banksy, the stencil seems a little sloppy for him. This on the corner of Urban Outfitters downtown on 5th.

Random Street Art

I found this piece downtown. It seems to be the statue of liberty. At the bottom people have added stickers I guess as you could call it an "Extension" it makes me feel as if people do support the street art movement.

Obey a.k.a Shepard Fairey

This is Shepard Fairey's famous Andre the Giant face. Shepard Fairey is know for his "Obey" campaign derived from the John Carpenter film "They Live" this piece is powerful because Andre the Giant is big and enforces fears, it makes me feel as if you don't "Obey" him he will punish you.

Osgemeos

Osgemeos did this on the side of the Horton Plaza parking structure. Osgemeos are twin brothers who are street artistsTheir work often features yellow-skinned characters - taken from the yellow tinge both of the twins have in their dreams. I believe this piece is saying that huge shopping centers build trends up to be better than they actually are thus the phrase "Don't Believe the Hype."

Burning House period 6

In my Burning House picture, I would take my dear bike. This bike I saved up for 4 months to buy. I figured I would need it to get around and be cost efficient once I don't have a house and won't have gas money alll the time. Also I would take a big backpack to keep my belongings in, a jacket to keep warm. My phone, my computer, and my Playboy collection that I have built up over the past 3 years.

P.6 Cool and Warm colors

For this picture, I took a picture of pink and blue paint together on wood, then I brought it into photoshop and boosted the saturation to make the warmer colors (pinks) darker and pop a little more. Then I also blurred it to make the colors blend better.
